My client, near Newquay, are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join their team at this family run business nestled on the stunning North Coast.As Sous Chef you will support the Head Chef to manage the daily operations in the kitchen, you will keep your cool under pressure and be a team playerYou must have a minimum of 2 years previous Sous Chef experience.Your main duties are, but not limited too;Manage and working closely with the Head Chef & Kitchen staff to ensure that the highest quality of food is servedHelp the Head Chef with recruitment and help train apprentice chefsControlling and directing the food preparation processApproving and polishing dishes before they reach the customerAssist the Head Chef creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes ensuring variety and qualityDetermining food inventory needs, stock control and orderingResponsible for ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelinesThis is a full time permanent position offering an annual salary of £28,000 with an monthly pay or hourly rate of £14.00 per hourSummer hours 50-60 per week / Winter hours 20 per weekLive in is available at an additional costTo apply please send your CV to stephanie@winners-recruitment.co.uk to contact Steph at Winners Recruitment, Truro, for more information
