My client on the outskirts of Truro are seeking a Chef de Partie to join their busy Kitchen Team.The Hotel is a moderate-sized brigade which runs 2 kitchens. A traditional dining room with 1 AA rosette plus a recently refurbished restaurant open to non-hotel residents. This is a very high-quality operation and accordingly, candidates must have a significant aspiration to work within a luxury hotel.Responsibilities: Execute culinary tasks efficiently and consistently according to the standards set by the head chef. Prepare and present high-quality dishes in adherence to the company standards. Manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring all dishes are prepared to perfection and delivered on time. Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to maintain a smooth and efficient operation. Uphold strict hygiene and safety standards in food preparation and handling. Assist in menu development and contribute innovative ideas to enhance the dining experience. Train and supervise junior kitchen staff to maintain consistency and quality. Maintain inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Adapt to changing requirements and contribute to a positive working environment.Qualifications/ Experience: Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent position, preferably in a rosette-standard restaurant. Culinary diploma or relevant certification preferred. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and practices. Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional dishes.Full time permanent position with an annual salary starting from £32,000 per annum depending on experience, plus a share of gratuities. Candidates must have full flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.The Hotel is in a remote coastal location and not reachable by public transport, therefore candidates must have own transportation. Live in accommodation is available depending on availability.
